Together with NCRTC and Deutsche Bahn (DB), India’s leading feminine hygiene brand, everteen, hosted a two-day awareness campaign at two Namo Bharat corridor stations to mark the 13th International Menstrual Hygiene Day (#MHDay2026).
Menstrual Hygiene Day is celebrated globally to break taboos and raise awareness on menstrual health. Namo Bharat is India's first regional rapid transit system run by NCRTC to ensure urban development through connectivity.
The event was held on 27th and 28th May 2026 at Sarai Kale Khan Namo Bharat Station in Delhi and Begumpul Namo Bharat Station in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Through a series of interactive activities and outreach, this two-day CSR event aimed to break taboos, dispel myths, and encourage public conversations on menstrual health and hygiene.
everteen distributed free menstrual hygiene kits to women commuters, including sanitary pads, period calendar and a specially designed everteen Period Tracker. Informative flyers on safe menstrual hygiene practices were also be distributed. Dedicated photo booths installed inside the stations mobilized wider support from visitors through social media.
Regular public announcements from everteen information distribution desk at the concourse drew commuter attention, broadcasted schedule of activities, and created mass awareness. Trained team members from everteen conducted an awareness walk wearing theme-based masks inside the women’s coach and engaged in live chat and interactive sessions with female commuters to promote open dialogue on menstrual health in public spaces.
Earlier this year in March 2026, everteen, NCRTC and DB had created awareness among more than 4000 women commuters through a similar awareness event on International Women’s Day, in which Anand Vihar Namo Bharat Station was also covered. This February, PM Narendra Modi launched the first Namo Bharat trains and praised them as a symbol of women's empowerment.
Every year, everteen also conducts menstrual hygiene survey to generate collective insights to help shape strategies and solutions for a better menstrual experience among women. Owned by Wet and Dry Personal Care Private Limited, a PAN Health initiative, everteen has also held feminine and menstrual hygiene awareness workshops and campaigns such as #FixYourPeriods, #SheNeedsPad, #PadHerLife and #BloodyHypocrisy.
